School of Public Policy, Georgia Institute of Technology is a research intensive, globally engaged school. It houses one of the world's top programs in the field of science and technology (S&T) policy. It’s a university partner in the European Union's network of excellence in technology and innovation policy ("PRIME"), and it hosts a major international conference on S&T policy that brings participants from every continent. Because nearly every policy area is intertwined with S&T issues -- the environment, communications, transportation, biotechnology and health, urban development, workforce and education, -- the School is at the center of a wide range of important international, national, and state policy questions.

•  Technology Policy and Assessment Center (TPAC)

TPAC is one of the oldest interdisciplinary centers at the Georgia Institute of Technology, with students, research associates, and alumni around the world. We focus on innovation systems that address global issues in emerging and infrastructure technologies. TPAC has partners in the U.S., Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America, working together towards inclusive development.

•  Program in Science, Technology and Innovation Policy (STIP)

STIP is sponsored by the Georgia Tech School of Public Policy and Georgia Tech's Enterprise Innovation Institute. The STIP program aims to establish an internationally recognized initiative focused on research-based, economically-driven, science, technology and innovation policies. STIP also aims to advance, exploit, bridge, and focus research and practice in science, technology policy, and development. Initially, specific research and policy themes have been identified.
