The School of Management and Economics, Beijing Institute of Technology, has been committed to develop leadership, to explore management theories and methods, and to help promote economic and social development, since its foundation thirty years ago. The faculty in the school is dedicated to make it a passionate, interactive engagement for the undergraduates, postgraduates, and the MBA, EMBA, MPA, EDP participants. Innovative and frontier ideas on economic and management practice are particularly embraced there.

•  Lab of Knowledge Discovery & Data Analysis

Lab of Knowledge Discovery & Data Analysis focus on a variety of disciplines studying Data Mining, including Information Extraction, Technology Monitoring and other advanced Information Technology. The lab has undertaken a lot of national fundamental or applied fundamental research projects since its establishment, such as the National Fund of Sciences, 863 Program, and so on.

•  Center for Scientific Assessment and Innovation Management

Center for Scientific Assessment and Innovation Management focus on Science and Technology Evaluation and Technology Management, Research and Development and Technology Innovation Management, Patent Monitoring and Intellectual Property Strategy, Cross-border Investment and Industrial Competitiveness. The Center also preside a large number of national key projects and shoulder a lot of important research topics.
