Yun Liu is the professor and Doctoral tutor of School of Management and Economics, Beijing Institute of Technology. He is also the Leader in Technology Evaluation and Innovation Management Direction of Ministry of Education, "985" project "National Philosophy and Social Science Innovation Base,director of BIT Science and Technology Evaluation and Innovation Management Research Center , director of International Investment and Trade Research Center.

He has long been engaged in the research on Management Science. His main field of research include:Science and Technology Evaluation and Technology Management, Research and Development and Technology Innovation Management, Patent Monitoring and Intellectual Property Strategy, Cross-border Investment and Industrial Competitiveness. And he also presided a large number of national key projects and shouldered a lot of Important research topics(more than 30). He issued more than 100 academic papers in academic journals at home and abroad,published five scholarly monograph. Also he submitted to the policy consultation report to the Ministry of Science and Technology, National Natural Science Foundation of China, former COSTIND, Ministry of Education.
