Innovation Co-Laboratory
The Innovation Co-Laboratory is based on School of Public Policy(SPP) in Georgia Institute of Technology, Manchester Institute of Innovation Research at the University of Manchester (MIoIR) and School of Management and Economics (SME) in Beijing Institute of Technology. It focuses on Science & Technology & Innovation challenges found in the fields of science and technology policy, R&D evaluation, reginal innovation, and technology-based economic development.

Early focus areas will include:

  • Emerging Technologies forecasting
  • Patent method analysis
  • Publication method analysis
  • Public Policy analysis
  • Science and Technology Policy analysis
  • Innovation management and policy
  • R&D Impacts Assessment

JOINT ACTIVITIES will include:

  • Exchange of faculty members and researchers
  • Exchange of students
  • Exchange of information and academic resources that are of mutual interest
  • Activities such as collaborative research, cooperative projects, joint symposia and exchange lectures
  • Co-operation in formal or informal networks.
